The horticulture sector is rapidly evolving, with increasing demand for innovative technologies that enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability. However, growers and industry stakeholders often face challenges in accessing and adopting these emerging solutions.
The Gatton AgTech Showcase returns on 15–16 October 2025 at the Gatton Smart Farm in Queensland. This premier event offers a platform for AgTech providers to:
- Conduct live demonstrations of technologies such as field robotics, drones, sensors, and data analytics tools.
- Engage with a diverse audience, including growers, agribusinesses, consultants, researchers, and students.
- Participate in the speaking program
- Network with industry leaders and potential collaborators.
The 2023 event attracted over 1,000 attendees and was honored with the 2024 VISY Industry Impact Award at the Australian Horticulture Awards for Excellence.

Organised by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Gatton AgTech Showcase aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and practical application in horticulture. The event fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the adoption of transformative technologies across the sector.
Funded by Hort Innovation, using the vegetable research and development levy, contributions from the Australian Government and co-investment from the Queensland Department of Primary Industries.
Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
AusAgritech and the National Farmers' Federation Horticulture Council have also partnered with QDPI for this event.
